MR. CURTIS E. ROBERTSON, GS-14

Mr. Curtis “Curt” Robertson is the Director of Community Initiatives. He serves as special advisor to the 12th Flying Training Wing and is responsible for all encroachment initiatives that effect the 12th FTW. As the primary conduit between JBSA-Randolph and the surrounding community, he communicates aircraft capabilities, limitations and risks associated with potential encroachment on mission, infrastructure, and airspace utilization. He also briefs various groups including business leaders, planning and zoning commissions, city councils and when requested, state and federal officials on the adverse impact of encroachment on the 12th FTW’s mission space.
With over 25 years of squadron, wing and MAJCOM level experience, Mr. Robertson’s professional background include Air Traffic Control, Airspace Management, Airfield Operations, Encroachment Management, Mission Sustainment and Community Engagement. He has held various operational, managerial and supervisory positions. Mr. Robertson retired from active duty military service in 2012.
